It was cold... extremally cold. Why was the window open? Groggily, he lifted his head just enough to find the remote before pressing the 'off' button and watching the t.v. shut down. His head was swimming with the tortorous images that had simultaneously planted themselves within his mind and it took all of his concentration to keep them from pinning him to his chair. Oh, how he hated the nightmares! He staggered to his feet, dropping the thick comforter back onto the tan couch before silently walked towards the window. Closing it, he latched it shut and clapped loudly, turning on the lights immediately. "Hullo? Anyone here?" His gorgeous, brown eyes scanned the kitchen and the living room before he declared it safe. Running a tan hand through his shaggy, brown hair, he struggled to remain on his feet; the sleep aid was still threatening to knock him out.
