Personality: Hmm...

Dante is the well versed individual you see at one of those swanky parties, who is surrounded by the glitziest people in town. He's the one with a flute of sherry in one hand, while the other illustrates the story that purrs past his voluble lips. He's one of those people that would sweat sophistication if it were a bodily fluid, and draws attention in without even trying, like a magnet. If you compliment him and even hint that you're expecting one in return, he'll simply respond with a neutral 'Thank you' and carry on the conversation. People who are even slightly self-conscious have said that Dante Kresthin is intimidating.

But why?

Is it brute strength? No. Wealth? No, that only makes him more enviable. Power? Fame? Bingo. He's like being in the presence of a celebrity...Those stoic blue-gray eyes stare right into your soul, not breaking for a second until you look away. Engaging in conversation with him can be exhausting; even if he uses very few words, you're left feeling as if even looking at him was doing you a favor.

He is a mirage in its literal sense. Something that's not what it seems to be...like a tempting oasis in a sweltering desert. Dante is... wickedly powerful.

Appearance: His hair, usually slicked back, is the color of jet. When not at formal events, his hair is quite messy, going every which way- but, on him, it looks good. That can be said for anything that goes on Dante Kresthin.
He almost always wears a tight black suit, except to bed. His beautiful house lies just outside of Ember City, but he spends most of his time in Ember, attending parties and doing under-the-counter deals at his 'Everything' shop.
There, he goes under a different name. Ires Quasmeer. Ires is quite different... doing deals with many gangs. Dante also fixes the media, and even the mayor, so that he never gets caught. He owns his own gang, called The Caedo's Superbia, Latin for 'The Assassin's Pride'. This group consists of highly skilled assassins, much cleaner than the other largest gang of Ember- The Black Eklipse.
History: As a young boy, Dante was not exactly the nicest person on the block- and he lived on a bad block. Hypothetically. His parents were rich, his grandparents were rich... and suddenly, they all died in some horrible accident. He got all of the money. Quite an inheritance- a huge mansion, too.
When he was older, he began to do deals with the government, the police, and everyone. (for more, see in 'Assassin's Pride' board)
